What kind of photography is currently allowed during the lockdown in Toronto, Ontario?

CURRENTLY PERMITTED SERVICES IN ONTARIO:

  • Commercial photography, defined as photography or videography with the intent of promoting, marketing, selling an individual, brand, product, service, or otherwise. We are currently OPEN and renting our studio out to content creators, photographers, videographers, etc. that are shooting this type of content!

  • Industrial photography, generally content related to production and B2B and B2C type photographs. We are open and renting our studio to clients for this purpose as well.

  • CURRENTLY NOT PERMITTED:

  • Photography services that are not permitted are retail photography. Think of stuff like family portraits, baby or pet photography, etc. for the purpose of sale to a retail end consumer.

  • EXEMPTION: if you are shooting these kinds of photographs with a COMMERCIAL intent (i.e. photography or videography with the intent of promoting, marketing, selling an individual, brand, product, service, or otherwise) we are open and able to rent our space to you for your photoshoot.
